Aaron R. Jackson is an associate in Basham Law Group's Sacramento office, where he exclusively practices employment law and related litigation. Aaron aggressively defends employers against employment claims for breach of contract, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, unfair business practices, violation of wage and hour laws, as well as numerous other tort and statutory employment law causes of action. Aaron practices in both State and Federal courts, and before various administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, and the Workers Compensation Appeals Board.
Aaron has a wide variety of practical experience. Throughout his career, Aaron has been involved in all aspects of litigation from inception through trial and appeal. Aaron is no stranger to the courtroom. He has argued numerous matters in both state and federal Court. He has chaired several evidentiary and administrative hearings, and he has co-chaired and/or assisted in the arbitration and trial of several matters. He also has extensive experience in settlement negotiations, mediation, and arbitration.

Aaron graduated cum laude in 2001 from the University of California, Davis, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. In 2004, he received his Juris Doctor from University of California, Davis, School of Law. While attending law school, Aaron was an intern in a labor law firm and externed in the Sacramento Superior Court. |

Aaron has practiced employment law throughout his career as an attorney. Prior to joining Basham Law Group, Aaron was an associate at a Northern California employment defense firm for over two years. In addition, Aaron also has broad experience in other areas of the law and litigation, which often benefits his employer clients today. Prior to committing himself exclusively to the practice of employment law, Aaron worked as a San Francisco Bay Area Firm for several years where, in addition to employment law, his practice included corporate law, trade secret law, real estate law, and personal injury law. |
